This large multi levelled garden needed to work hard for our clients. The creation of well curated routes to the front door from both the village gate entrance and driveway area needed careful consideration. The softening of the house with foundation planting, wall shrubs and climbers will all work beautifully to settle the house into its surrounding landscape. Lawns and borders around the house all needed to be re-designed with opportunities for play and exciting journeys for young ones to connect with nature and have adventures. Many seating areas were designed for the family to appreciate beautiful views and vistas, to relax during busy work days, to chill together as well as entertain many friends in the sunnier side of the garden. An existing pond needed to be developed and a kitchen garden with plentiful room for a diverse range of crop created spanning the driveway. This driveway and arrival needed to be a beautiful welcome home. The pool garden is an aspiration for the future with space for poolside entertaining and lounging. Work on the key priority areas of this garden will begin in Spring next year and the rest of the garden will be developed in a phased progression over time.
